What happens with the donated money?

Heart to Heart has a so-called 90-account and are annually checked by Swedish Fundraising Control. They inspect our finance and accounting. They will check if donated money goes to it’s purpose and that administrative costs are kept within reasonable limits. At least 75 percent of the total revenue have to go to the purpose for all organizations with 90 account. The expenses for administration must not exceed 25 percent.

Heart to Heart is also part of the FRII together with 80 other Swedish organizations. FRII works to the established ethical rules for the collection shall be followed by the member organizations and thus be a safeguard for the general interest of people who donates money.
